Pointe Precision Attending Mfg4 Event May 6-8, 2014

Pointe Precision announces their attendance at the Mfg4 Event at the Connecticut Convention Center, Hartford, CT.

 Mfg4, an event produced by SME, is one of the manufacturing industry’s trusted sources of knowledge and information. The event brings together a strategic mix of industries: aerospace, defense and medical industries with the co-located MicroManufacturing and MMI - Medical Manufacturing Innovations Conferences.

Manufacturing is growing and changing - moving from low value repetitive assembly to high value, technology-rich products and services. Pointe Precision Inc. Attending Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit Seattle, March 11-13, 2014


Pointe Precision will be attending the Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit Seattle, March 11-13, 2014. The first of its kind in the United States, Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit Seattle is an opportunity for leaders in the aerospace industry to meet with potential industry partners.

The Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit will be held at the Seattle Convention Center, March 11-13, 2013. It is endorsed by The Boeing Company and will be hosted by BCI Aerospace with support from the Washington State Department of Commerce. Event sponsors include the Washington Aerospace Partnership, Accenture and the City of Renton. Four Boeing business units - Commercial Airplanes; Defense, Space and Security; Engineering, Operations & Technology; and Shared Services Group - will participate in the event.

"There is tremendous opportunity in the aerospace market over the next 20 years and collaboration is the key," said Kent Fisher, vice president and general manager of Supplier Management for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "Boeing needs a dynamic, engaged, highly capable and constantly improving supply chain. That's why we are supporting the 2014 Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit in Seattle and encouraging our top tier suppliers to attend."

Washington State helped with the first ever ADSS in Seattle, March 2012, which was attended by 800 companies representing 30 countries participating in 10,000 pre-scheduled meetings exchanging ideas and exploring potential partnership. The 2014 program will offer all participants the opportunity to sign up, identify and request meetings with relevant contacts prior to the show. The business to business format is extremely efficient for the attendees to maximize their use of time and schedule pre-arranged meetings with their highest priorities.

The first day will include a presentation by Boeing and include key insights from industry leaders with the following days consisting of workshops and one-on-one meetings. In addition to providing a forum for exchanging ideas and developing future business opportunities, the Aerospace & Defense Supplier Summit is one of the world's largest business networking events for the aerospace industry.

Pointe Precision Construction Update

Our new addition here at Pointe Precision is progressing right on schedule. We have 14 machines installed and are beginning production! Twelve machines are 4-station CNC machines and two are lathes.

Additionally the rest of the interior of the building is nearing completion as well . . . offices and conference areas and additional general manufacturing space is progressing well. We are anticipating the project to be finished yet this spring.

Joe Kinsella Receives 2013 Quality of LIfe Leadership Award (April 2013)



Pointe Precision Inc. would like to congratulate President and CEO, Joe Kinsella, on being named one of the 2013 Quality of Life Leadership Award winners presented by Saint Michaels Hospital Foundation at their annual Community Leadership Celebration on April 27, 2013. 

This award, which is given out annually by the foundation, honors individuals who make contributions that enhance the quality of life in Portage County.  Joe has served on many community boards such as; United Way, Mid-State Technical College, North Central WI Workforce Development Board,  Saint Michaels Hospital and Stevens Point YMCA.  This year marked the 20th annual Leadership Celebration which took place at the Stevens Point Country Club.

August Kicks Off Pointe Precison's Annual United Way Campaign

At Pointe Precision, we are committed to helping our community. One of the ways we help is through our annual United Way of Portage County Campaign.  Our 2013 campaign kicks off with a series of special events including drawings, Packer Jersey raffles, an autographed Packer Team Football raffle, a soup kitchen and a silent auction. The events begin in August and they wrap up around Thanksgiving.

In 2012, Pointe Precision employees donated over $20,000 toward the United Way through our special events and payroll deductions; this year our goal is $25,000. 


We are excited to be involved in a program that can change the lives of so many individuals and families within our community all while having fun doing it!  Most importantly, we want to thank our employees for their generosity in supporting those in need in our community.

Pointe Precision Exhibiting at the MD&M Minneapolis Conference

Pointe Precision is pleased to announce that Scot Barton, Vice President Sales, and Dan Meddaugh, Sales, are participating in the Minneapolis MD&M Conference, held October 31-November 1, 2012, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, MN.

This year's Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) conference featured education sessions on a wide range of topics, including new manufacturing strategies and processing technologies, innovations in medical materials, and emerging technology trends in power sources for medical devices, testing and evaluation for improved safety and reliability.

Throughout the conference, attendees, attendees were offered the opportunity to meet and network with exhibitors, providing information about products and services.

Speakers at this year's conference were all leaders in their respective fields, attendees were able to interact during all presentations and panel discussions.

Attendees of the MD&M Minneapolis Conference are able to  keep the conversation going by maximizing the use of social media. The conference's Twitter account is using the hashtag #MDMminn.
