Rose Williams Bids Farewell to Pointe Precision as Company's Second Retiree

Rose Williams is retiring after 17 years of employment with Pointe Precision. We are pleased to recognize Rose and wish her all the best.

I have had to medically retire from Pointe Precision after 17 years of service.  I began when the company started and have watched it grow tremendously.  Pointe Precision has branched out to meet the many needs of manufacturing and I am proud to have been a part of that growth.  Joe Kinsella has been a great president and friend to all.  The company is mindful of family needs and works with its employees to meet family needs.  Overall, my employment with Pointe Precision was a very positive experience.  I have made many friendships I know will last.  I am proud to be only the second retiree from Pointe Precision!  The company continues to grow and I wish it much success!

Lower Costs, Time Savings Offered By New Equipment At Pointe Precision, Inc.

As part of their dedication to continuous improvement, Pointe Precision, Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of two new pieces of cutting-edge equipment designed to answer the market’s expanding need for ever more complex, critical tolerance products produced in increasingly shorter time frames.

Pointe Precision’s new, fully-automated Hermle C-22 5-Axis Machining Center offers new flexibility in the production of precision components used by manufacturing industries ranging from aerospace to motor spor. It also provides opportunities for time and cost savings due to decreased set-up time.
The first, a Hermle C-22 5-Axis Machining Center, boosts Pointe Precision’s capacity to produce difficult to machine material in record time, especially components for the medical and aerospace industry. The increase in production efficiency using five CNC axes instead of four is remarkable, according to Sam Crueger, Director of Engineering Services at Pointe Precision Inc. “In 75 percent of cases, the Hermle can produce parts in one set-up that previously needed two or three set-ups on the 4-axis machine. The reduced number of set-ups saves time and saves customers thousands of dollars in fixture costs and NRE’s (Non-Recurring Engineering Charges)

The newly-installed Sheffield Discovery III Coordinate Measuring Machine enables Pointe Precision to thoroughly inspect machined components for exact accuracy on the shop floor. Avoiding having to wait for results from a quality control lab shortens project time frames and offers savings for customers
The second new addition to Pointe Precision’s already extensive array of quality control equipment is a Sheffield Discovery III Servo Driven Shop Floor CMM. This coordinate measuring machine was purchased to increase inspection capacity on the shop floor, thereby again shortening turnaround time for customers. The Discovery III, features outstanding accuracy and increases Pointe Precision’s ability to thoroughly inspect for exact adherence to customer requirements for complex, three dimensional shapes without having to wait for results from a quality control lab.
The addition of both of these machines to the production chain enables Pointe Precision to provide new time and cost saving manufacturing solutions for today’s critical applications.
